Meeting Friends from Cornwall
Gary came to my studio in April 2026 and brought a recording I had made with his late father, Roy Kenton, when I had been working freelance with Radio Cornwall. I had always bought my electrical equipment from Gary at his unit GK Electronics in Pool at the Industrial Estate between Camborne and Redruth. I had placed YTS students with Gary whilst I was working as a lecturer at Camborne College in the 1990s.
Harry is a very talented young man who is attending an International School in Spain.I am trying to understand differences between Spain's education and my own experience of teaching in UK and also at an International School in Spain
Meeting Harry Sheridan 12th July 2025
I met Harry in a very informal session with his mum and dad in their home. I was really impressed when Harry really wanted to discuss matters of a political nature and remembered some of his views! A lot later I saw a video where Harry was giving a political speech and decided the time was right to see if Harry was up for a podcast in which I can discover aspects of where education has been changing since my teaching days in Cornwall.
